Jose Mourinho is tipped as the next Manchester United boss.

Jose Mourinho is hotly tipped to become the next Manchester United boss, and The Mail claim he already has his sights set on selling two first team players.

The report claims Mourinho is keen to sell Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini, two players he believes he does not need.

Mourinho has already sold Mata once, allowing the Spaniard to leave Chelsea and switch to United in January 2014.

Selling Mata would be a decision which would split fans, with the attacker a popular player, albeit one who has struggled for consistency at Old Trafford.

Fellaini meanwhile has struggled to win over supporters, not through a lack of effort but simply because he is viewed as not good enough.

While this may seem like wild speculation, it is important to remember a similar report was published in Marca in June 2013 shortly before Mourinho re-joined Chelsea.

It claimed the manager was keen on selling two Chelsea players, David Luiz and Juan Mata, and despite protestations he would keep the pair - within 12 months both were gone.
