Ravel Morrison reacts on Twitter to West Ham win, fans respond

Ravel Morrison

Ravel Morrison was delighted to see former club West Ham progress in the FA Cup.

He may be over in Italy, but Ravel Morrison is paying close attention to former club West Ham United.

The Hammers knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup last night, with an extra time goal from Angelo Ogbonna preventing the potential heartbreak of a penalty shoot-out.

Morrison commented via Twitter after the winning goal, with a short and simple message conveying his admiration for his former club, posting the acronym for Come On You Irons.

Morrison, 23, was released by West Ham last year after failing to convince manager Sam Allardyce he deserved to be part of his plans.

He since signed with Lazio but after an impressive pre-season for the Serie A side he has found it difficult to earn a place in the first team.

A report in The Sun during the past transfer window claimed the Hammers were monitoring his progress in Italy, along with Premier League competitors Aston Villa, Swansea City and Bournemouth.

Morrison's message plenty of response from Hammers fans, who apart from the odd dissenter, seemed hopeful Morrison could return to the club, with Allardyce now gone...
