Leicester City's Jamie Vardy really didn't like his old stats on FIFA 16

Jamie Vardy

Certainly one way to destroy some pretty average stats...

To some players they might just be meaningless numbers that have no real world effect, but to others, their ratings on FIFA mean a lot to them.

And pretty much every year, there are a fair few players who reckon they've been really, really underrated in the game –the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Mauro Zarate and Samir Nasri have all moaned in recent years.

But, as any FIFA player will tell you, the only way to improve your stats in the game is start performing well in the real world!

And that is exactly what Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has done. After scoring just five goals in 34 appearances in the Premier League for the Foxes. That performance saw him given a rating of just a 71 out of 99! Now, instead of moaning about it, Vardy just decided to score bloomin' loads and loads of goals... 18 in fact!

And with FIFA putting out their January upgrades for players who have been performing well, Vardy was one of those given some impressive new stats taking him to a 75 rated gold.

As you can imagine, Vardy was over the moon and decided to show his delight for his new stats by taking out his anger on something...

Just look what our pals at Copa filmed the England striker doing to his old card!

Blimey! We can't wait to see Vardy smash some more goals in for Leicester to see what he does to his new card if and when he gets another upgrade!
