Heung-Min Son has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official site that every day he feels happy to be at White Hart Lane.
Son was brought to Spurs last summer from Bayer Leverkusen, and he has made a positive impression in his first season in English football.
The South Korean international’s work-rate has caught the eye, and he already has been given important role to play for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
While many players take a while to settle in to Premier League life, Son has made the transition look easy, and the 23-year-old believes that is down to the good relationship he has with the rest of his teammates.
"The lads make me happy and I’m happy every day to be here because they are all my friends and all good players,” Son said.
"We are very good together, we work together and I’m happy to be part of that every day.
"We have a chance to do something special this season but at the moment, we're just focusing on each game. We have a strong mentality and we are all ready to play.”
Son has already racked up 25 appearances for Spurs, and he has managed to notch five times for the club so far.
His dynamism has helped add another quality to Tottenham’s attacking ranks, and he has helped Spurs mount an unexpected push for the title.
The Lilywhites are currently in second place in the Premier League table, and they are only five points behind Leicester City, who are leading the way.
