Henry scored his 100th Premier League goal on this day in 2004!

There really is only one way to judge just how good a striker is... how many goals they score! And there are a small amount of players in the Premier League who just love a goal. In fact, there are currently 24 players who are in a very prestigious club due to their goal-scoring antics.

Yes, there are just 24 members of the Premier League's 100 club, with Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer leading the list with 260 goals and reaching the 100 mark after just 125 games.

However, the man who scored the second fastest century of goals in the Premier League is arguably one of the league's all-time great players...Thierry Henry!

And today marks the 12th anniversary of the Frenchman scoring his 100th goal in the league, a feat he managed in just 160 games.

Henry scored his 100th and 101st for Arsenal in their 2-0 win over Southampton back in 2004 to help the Gunners on their way to their Invincibles season.

The thing is, though, his 100th goal was not exactly as spectacular as some of his other great goals, so here are five of our favourite Thierry Henry strikes:

1. THAT goal against Spurs

That goal was pretty fantastic, but the celebration was probably better!

2. Stunning volley against Manchester United

Why bother with trying to get past Manchester United's defenders when you can just chip it up and then smash a volley in!

3. Dancing through Liverpool

We saw Anthony Martial basically do this against Liverpool earlier this season but this by Henry is just filthy!

4. That curl against Manchester City

Oh blimey that curl is just ridiculous!

5. That cheeky back heel!

I think this pretty much sums up Henry... cheeky, just very, very cheeky!
