West Ham United fans react on Twitter to latest rumours about Dimitri Payet's future

West Ham United's Dimitri Payet has been linked with a £38 million move to China.

West Ham United supporters have reacted with mixed feelings, after Sky Sports suggested that an unnamed Chinese club have offered £38 million for Dimitri Payet.

China have brought a number of high profile players to their domestic league in recent times, and Payet is the next man to be lined up for a move.

West Ham supporters are understandably desperate to see him remain at Upton Park, but there is a realisation that the deal represents a staggering profit on a player they only bought in during the summer transfer window.

West Ham paid £10.7 million for Payet, according to a report in the Telegraph, but his form in the Premier League has raised his price-tag considerably.

The Frenchman is one of West Ham’s most integral players, and he is already a fans’ favourite, but many supporters have suggested that such a valuable deal for a player who is nearly 29, is simply too good to turn down.

It remains to be seen whether Payet would want a move to China, but West Ham fans are starting to fear the worst, despite the attacking midfielder committing his future at the club on Twitter this morning.

Here is the best reaction to the latest Payet rumours from West Ham fans on social media.
