Saido Berahino sends message ahead of West Brom's match against Peterborough

The West Bromwich Albion player cannot wait for another chance to score.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has taken to Twitter ahead of his side’s FA Cup fourth round replay against Peterborough United on Wednesday evening.

The 22-year-old has made plenty of headlines for his previous Twitter exploits but this message is sure to please Baggies fans who are desperate to see their side get some wins under their belt.

“Ready and raring to go for the game tomorrow,” the England under-21 international wrote.

So far this season Berahino has featured 22 times for West Brom’s first-team but he has been used sparingly and has not appeared for more than 45 minutes in the league since the end of October.

However the FA Cup has given him the chance to shine and he netted twice in the 2-2 draw against Peterborough that prompted this replay.

It will be refreshing for West Brom fans to see Berahino taking to Twitter to simply say how excited he is for an upcoming match and if he gets on the score-sheet again the clamour for him to get back into Tony Pulis’s first-team in the league will grow increasingly loud.
