Shanghai Shenhua are said to be very keen on the French international.
Chinese football is looking to have a big impact in 2016 - with the likes of Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez and Chelsea midfielder Ramires all heading to the Far East to play their football.
Ramires might not be the only Chelsea player heading to China at this rate.
It is being reported in France today that a Chelsea striker will be heading to Shanghai Shenhua tin the coming days. No it is not Falcao, but rather French international Loic Remy who will be making the move to China.
That is according to reports from Le 10 Sport who claim that Remy is keen on the deal.
They claim that they are hoping to add both Remy and Ezequiel Lavezzi of PSG this month and that they will pay Chelsea €15 million (£11.7 million) for the Frenchman.
The only sticking point at the moment is over his salary. Remy wants €9 million (£7 million) a season, but Shanghai are only offering a measly €7 million (£5.5 million). The cheapskates.
If Remy were to make the move from Chelsea to Shanghai he would join the likes of Tim Cahill and former Chelsea star Demba Ba at the club.
