The Slovenian has stepped in for Dani Pinillos admirably.
A goal from Nelson Oliveira did the trick but there was plenty of other performances to be pleased with. Gary Gardner was excellent in central midfield whilst Eric Lichaj continued to thrive at right-back.
But left-back Bojan Jokic has certainly settled in quickly at Forest.
He was exceptional v Leeds and has subsequently been included in the Championship team of the week - along with Gardner.
Nottingham Forest had to move for a left-back in the transfer window after Dani Pinillos was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
The Slovenian international arrived from Spanish outfit Villarreal. The 29-year-old is obviously a talented player but things in Spain have never really got off the ground for Jokic. He joined the Yellow Submarine from Italian outfit Chievo Verona in 2013 but struggled to cement a place among the regular first-team members in one of the toughest leagues in the world.
However, he has proved himself an able replacement to Pinillos already and Forest fans are certainly appreciating his form.
Here is some reaction to his good week at the office...
Jokic in the football league's team of the week #nffc— @forest4eversteve (@biltonsteve) February 8, 2016
Huge huge huge result. Can someone talk to me about Jokic? He's utter utter class. #nffc— ForestRed. (@ForestRed1) February 6, 2016
Jokic has real class. Lovely turn from him on the left side gets #nffc on the attack.— Paul Taylor (@nottmtails) February 6, 2016
Yet again DDV had hardly a save to make. Lichaj, Mills, Mancienne and Jokic are rock solid. #nffc— Ravi (@ForestRav) February 6, 2016
