Kasper Schmeichel has told Leicester City’s official site that it is a joy playing in the same team as Robert Huth.
Huth scored twice as Leicester produced arguably the biggest upset of the Premier League season by beating Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.
And Schmeichel has spoken very positively of the German international, who he feels has been a great addition for the Foxes.
"Robert [Huth] is a top defender," the Danish stopper said. "He is a joy to play behind. He doesn't over-complicate things. He knows what he is good at and does that very well."
Huth joined Leicester from Stoke City last summer, and he has formed a formidable partnership alongside Wes Morgan.
The duo have overpowered numerous strikers, and their form has been a major reason behind Leicester’s unlikely push for the title.
After beating City, Claudio Ranieri’s side are now five points clear at the top of the table, and they have become the bookies’ favourites to win the title.
Leicester have a chance to further consolidate their position at the top of the pile this weekend, too, when they take on Arsenal on Sunday.
