The Spanish full-back has been impressing for Arsenal this season.
The Spanish right-back has been brilliant for the Gunners this season and he is now unquestionably their number one in that position – something that spells bad news for Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy.
Bellerin has played 29 matches for Arsenal this season and he has provided four assists in that time.
His work at both ends of the field has come in for plenty of praise and it is easy to forget Bellerin is still only 20. However his Arsenal teammate Campbell feels he has the potential to become even better.
Speaking to arsenal.com, the Costa Rica international said, “He is enjoying a very high level but I think he can give even more. He has the potential to be one of the best in the world.
“I think the best of Hector is yet to come. We haven’t seen it yet.”
Arsenal fans will certainly be hoping that is the case and when you consider most players do not reach their peak until around their mid-20s there is no doubt Bellerin’s trajectory is still heading skyward.
In the short term he will be hoping to help Arsenal to the Premier League title this season before kicking on for both club and country in the years ahead.
