Writing in Yahoo Sport, Jermaine Jenas has claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham are his Premier League favourites, admitting that he believes Leicester City will fall short with their attempts to win the title.
Jenas said: “I still don't make Leicester favourites. They have performed out of their skins but they still have a lot of work to do, and I feel they may fall short. As it stands, I think it will be either Arsenal or Tottenham that win the title.”
Jenas has not even mentioned City as potential contenders for the title, with the current fourth placed side six points off top spot.
Leicester sit in that top spot place right now, following their 3-1 win over City at the weekend, five points ahead of Spurs and Arsenal in second and third respectively - Spurs have a much better goal difference than their North London rivals.
If Leicester can win, they will be leading the way with a favourable run in over the final weeks of the campaign, but Jenas does not believe they can hold on to their lead and clinch the title at the end of the season.
The former Spurs midfielder believes one of Tottenham or Arsenal will claim the league, but many want to see Leicester continue their great season and end the campaign in first place.
