The Liverpool star has been named PFA Fans' Player of the Month.
The Brazilian international has struggled to impress since a big money move from Hoffenheim in the summer, with a series of disappointing displays earlier in the campaign.
He has since settled though, with January arguably his best month at the club though, with an impressive display in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal in particular standing out.
|Team||Goals||Goal Assist||Won Contest||Touches|
|Unsuccessful Touches per Game||Accurate Passes per Game||Successful Final Third Passes per Game||Passing Accuracy||Appearances|
As shown in the table provided by Opta, the forward was clearly on top of his game in several areas.
He posted four goals and one assist across the month, as well as seven successful take ons, an average of 1.75 per game.
Elsewhere he managed an average of 64 touches per game, with just 2.25 per game proving to be unsuccessful.
His passing was also notable as he posted 32.5 accurate passes per game, and 14.5 successful final third passes per game, while also finishing the month with an overall passing accuracy of 76%.
An impressive month for Firmino then, who Liverpool will be hoping can replicate these kind of performances in the remaining games this season.
