The 24-year-old winger featured as a starter for Granada in their 2-1 defeat to Zinedine Zidane's side, and provided an assist for Yousef El-Arabi's first half equaliser.
Rochina signed for Granada in 2014, after more than 50 appearances for Blackburn in the Premier League and the Championship.
He was signed from Barcelona's B team in 2011, showing glimpses of real quality at Ewood Park.
Since returning to Spain he has raised his game, and his display at the weekend underlined his progression.
Rochina has made 21 appearances in La Liga this season, of which 15 have been starts, and he has netted three goals and provided four assists.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper AS ahead of the Real fixture, he said he is full of confidence. He said: "I'm in the best moment since I arrived in Granada. It's where I had most continuity in a position in which I am settling very well and I like it. I'm trying to help the team best to achieve our objectives."
Rochina's former side Blackburn continue to struggle in the Championship, sitting in 18th place, more looking nervously over their shoulder than towards promotion. His Granada side are in a relegation battle of their own in Spain's top flight, presently in 19th place out of 20 teams, but if they display the quality they did against Real at the weekend then they stand a chance.
