The former Derby midfielder is confused by the decision, it seems...
The decision came suddenly and Clement has been dismissed with immediate effect.
Some feel the coach has lucked out - he is now free to rejoin Carlo Ancelotti next season, who is taking over at Bayern Munich.

The Rams may well have been acting in advance, seeing as they did nothing about their infamous collapse last season until it was too late.
Derby were in a strong position but have slid down the table and it was obviously felt Clement is not the right man to take the Midlands club forward.
Those arguing against the decision, though, will naturally point to the fact Derby are still only five points off the top of the Championship table.
