A number of Championship clubs have made enquiries to sign Watford defender Tommie Hoban on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Hoban is back to fitness after being sidelined for five months with hip and groin injuries which have prevented him from featuring so far this season.
Watford are considering sending Hoban out on loan so that he can get some valuable first-team action under his belt as he looks to regain match fitness.
The likes of Leeds United, Fulham, Reading, Rotherham and Charlton Athletic have all sounded out Watford about a loan move for versatile defender Hoban.
The former Arsenal trainee is highly-regarded at Watford after working his way through the academy to the first-team and he was handed a new deal last summer to keep him at Vicarage Road until 2019.
Hoban played a key role in helping Watford win promotion to the Premier League making 30 appearances in the Championship last season and in the process winning the club's Young Player of the Year award.
Watford are now weighing up the options for Hoban before deciding where to send the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international out on loan with the likes of Leeds and Charlton sure to use the emergency window if the right player becomes available.
