Spurs beat the Hornets 1-0 on Saturday, but it was a match where patience was tested - as Quique Sanchez Flores’ side put up a strong barrier.
Tottenham had numerous chances throughout the contest, but they could not find a breakthrough until Kieran Trippier tucked home the winner in the 64th minute.
And Pochettino has thanked Spurs fans for staying behind their team throughout the match.
"I want to say 'thank you' because today in a difficult moment of the game [at 0-0] when we'd played well, we created a lot of chances and the team needed to feel the patience to score a goal and I think that the help from our supporters was brilliant," the Argentine boss said. "Thank you to them."
Tottenham’s brilliant form appears to have gone slightly under the radar this season, but they are currently Leicester City’s closest challengers for the Premier League title.
The Lilywhites are currently in second place in the standings, and they have managed to go unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions.
Pochettino’s side are only five points behind the high-flying Foxes, and they could reduce that gap even further if they are able to beat Manchester City, in what will be a huge match at the weekend.
