Celtic fans fume over performance against East Kilbride on Twitter

Celtic won against East Kilbride in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of the team against East Kilbride on Sunday afternoon.

The Scottish Premiership giants got the better of the Lowland Football League outfit 2-0 at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie.

Leigh Griffiths put Celtic in the lead in the 21st minute, and Colin Kazim-Richards doubled the advantage five minutes into the second half.

Both of the Hoops’ goals were scrappy and from corners, and the East Kilbride players did put up a fight.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, East Kilbride had 30% of the possession, took two shots of which one was on target, and earned one corner.

Ronny Deila’s side had 70% of the possession, took 22 shots of which just five were on target, and earned 17 corners.

Celtic fans were far from impressed with the performance of the team and have taken to Twitter to have their say.
