Aaron Lennon was superb for Everton against Stoke

Everton won against Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Everton maintained their recent run of good form with victory over Stoke City away from home at the weekend.

The Merseyside outfit got the better of Stoke 3-0 at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees deserved to pick up all three points from the encounter, and one of their key players on the day was Aaron Lennon.

The former Tottenham Hotspur winger was superb for Everton and also scored their third goal.

As the above Opta Stats table shows, Lennon had a great game against Stoke and was probably Everton’s best player.

The 28-year-old England international winger had a pass accuracy of 76%, won two of the three dribbles he attempted, and took 34 touches of the ball.

Perhaps more importantly, Lennon worked hard, used his pace properly, and was a nuisance for the Stoke defence.

Everton are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 25 matches.
