Manchester United and Chelsea drew 1-1 on Sunday afternoon.
With time ticking down at Stamford Bridge on Sunday Manchester United looked like securing a much-needed victory against Chelsea.
However, Blues forward Diego Costa had other ideas and the Spanish international scored a last-gasp equaliser to ensure the match finished all square.
United and their fans were left disappointed after the visitors had impressed for large spells, but in truth Chelsea were good value for their point, with David de Gea keeping the hosts at bay time and again.
Both goalkeepers excelled, as did United winger Jesse Lingard who scored a wonderful opener to continue his own fine recent form.
However another United player made a real impact in the form of young left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
The 19-year-old has been thrust into the limelight this season after injuries to Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo and he has not disappointed.
Against Chelsea the United youngster continually got forward and delivered some superb crosses, one of which led to Lingard’s opener.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what United fans thought of Borthwick-Jackson’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
Borthwick-Jackson is a phenomenal crosser of the ball. His defensive positioning needs some work but he's going to be a big player!— srivaths (@chakieJM8) February 7, 2016
@Rob_Popland And Borthwick Jackson keeps getting better— REDMartial (@SallyTheManc) February 7, 2016
@LikaAlgeria Lastly Borthwick Jackson inexperience in playing them onside.— Zaid Satia (@ZaidSatia) February 7, 2016
Borthwick jackson ffs. He kept costa onside and did the worse tackle ever to get costa around de gea. De gea wouldve saved his shot— Æ (@_Anderinho) February 7, 2016
I am highly impressed by the way Borthwick Jackson delivered those beautiful crosses today.— Bruce Wayne (@reddevil_sumit) February 7, 2016
I guess there's time and place for youngsters to mature in the game.— Buyani S. Buthelezi (@Buyo91) February 7, 2016
But considering the game timing, Borthwick-Jackson's slip was costly.
Mata Jesse and Borthwick-Jackson all had very impressive games again. We just struggle to get over that finishing line.— Faz'Winston'Khalifa (@FazWinston) February 7, 2016
Looks like Borthwick-Jackson is better than what we all thought. His crosses in particular very dangerous.— JESUS NINJA (@GeneralIsComing) February 7, 2016
