Sunderland fans react on Twitter to Wahbi Khazri's performance against Liverpool

Sunderland drew 2-2 with Liverpool this weekend but what did Black Cats fans make of the Tunisian's contribution?

Sunderland showed their fighting spirit as they came back from 2-0 down away to Liverpool on Saturday to claim a share of the spoils in dramatic fashion.

The Reds were comfortably ahead with time running out after goals from Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana. However the Black Cats refused to give in, scoring twice in the last eight minutes through Adam Johnson and the in-form Jermain Defoe.

That point means Sunderland are now four points from safety with 13 matches remaining and while they still have work to do there is no doubt they are impressing under manager Sam Allardyce.

One player that looked particularly good was January signing Wahbi Khazri who set up both goals in Sunderland’s fight back.

The 24-year-old arrived at the Stadium of Light with a reputation as a creator and he has wasted little time backing that up.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what Sunderland fans thought of Khazri’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
