Southampton won against West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against West Ham United.

The Saints returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 1-0 triumph over West Ham at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday evening.

Maya Yoshida’s goal in the ninth minute proved to be the difference between the two sides. Southampton ended the game with 10 men due to the sending-off of Victor Wanyama in the 54th minute.

Koeman was delighted with the win and has posted the following message on Twitter:

The win means that Southampton are now seventh in the Premier League table with 37 points from 25 matches.

The Saints are playing well at the moment and are getting positive results, and a European finish is certainly within reach.

Koeman’s side will return to action next weekend when they take on Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League.
