Rangers players react after drawing with Kilmarnock at Ibrox, including Forrester, Tavernier

Rangers drew 0-0 with Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers face a replay in the Scottish Cup after a frustrating 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

The Gers faced a good test of where they are as a developing team, as they took on another Scottish Premiership side, a matter of months after being beaten by St. Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup.

Rangers had 56% of possession, hit 19 shots on goal with just four shots on target, but couldn't make it count as Kilmarnock, managed by former Ibrox hero Lee McCulloch, managed to grind out a draw even with Kallum Higginbotham being sent off late on.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Rangers, but they get a chance to try again in the replay, as they will travel to Rugby Park to face Kilmarnock again shortly.

After the game, a host of Rangers players took to Twitter to send messages to supporters, with goalkeeper Wes Foderingham celebrating another clean sheet.

Defender Rob Kiernan impressed, but went off injured in the second half and thanked fans for their messages of support, whilst right back James Tavernier praised the Ibrox crowd.

Finally, January signing Harry Forrester felt that Rangers were the better team and deserved to win the game, but is looking ahead to the replay.
