The Leeds United defender did everything asked of him this weekend but it was not enough to prevent defeat.
Leeds United saw their undefeated streak at Elland Road come to an end this weekend when they lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest.
Steve Evans’ side were well below their best and could not get the better of their visitors despite having the vast majority of the ball.
Indeed it was Leeds’ failure to have a prolific front-man that saw good chances go begging and ultimately left the Whites to suffer a disappointing defeat.
Despite that setback there was one Leeds player who stood out, doing all that was asked of him and standing head and shoulders above the vast majority of his teammates.

Centre-back Liam Cooper has formed an impressive pairing with Giuseppe Bellusci in recent weeks, and whatever Leeds fans think about the much-maligned Italian, his partner has done well time and again.
On Saturday Cooper had a fine passing accuracy of 84 per cent and a superb tackle accuracy of 100 per cent.
The 24-year-old also won 10 duels, six aerial battles, five interceptions and eight ball recoveries, while he was not dispossessed all afternoon.
All in all it was a superb showing from Cooper and Leeds fans will no doubt be hoping he maintains that great form for the rest of the campaign and beyond.
