Ian Wright sends heartfelt message to Benik Afobe on Twitter

Arsenal won against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has sent a heartwarming message to Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe on social networking site Twitter.

Afobe featured for Bournemouth against his former club Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The 22-year-old striker failed to make a huge impact and was substituted in the 77th minute, as the Cherries lost the match 2-0.

Former Arsenal striker Wright has taken to Twitter to send the youngster a heartfelt message.

Afobe started his career at Arsenal, but he failed to break into the first team and left the Gunner for Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2015.

The former England Under-21 international joined Bournemouth from Wolves last month. The youngster has done quite well for the Cherries so far, scoring three goals in five Premier League appearances.

Against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, Afobe failed to take a single shot, had a pass accuracy of 83%, and created one chance.
