Visitors Everton had just 34% of the possession, took 14 shots of which six were on target, and earned four corners.
The Merseyside outfit are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 25 matches.
Roberto Martinez’s side will return to action next weekend when they take on West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
