Newcastle United will take on West Bromwich Albion at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Newcastle United players were training on Friday ahead of the Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on West Brom at St. James’ Park.

The players were working hard in training on Friday, and among them was Daniel Barlaser (see photo to the right).

Barlaser is just 19 years of age and plays as a midfielder. The Turkish youth international signed his first professional contract last year and is rated very highly.

The teenager, who can play in a central role or out wide, has been at Newcastle since he was nine years of age.

Henri Saivet, Andros Townsend and Seydou Doumbia, all of whom joined Newcastle in the January transfer window, were also training on Friday (see photo below).

Steve McClaren’s side are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 21 points from 24 matches.

The Magpies are two points behind 17th-placed Norwich City and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
