John Hartson has suggested in The Scottish Sun that he is not a fan of Celtic duo Efe Ambrose and Erik Sviatchenko.
Ambrose, who can play as a central defender or as a right-back, has been on the books of Celtic since 2012.
Sviatchenko, a 24-year-old defender, moved to the Scottish Premiership giants from FC Midtjylland in the January transfer window.
Former Celtic striker Hartson has suggested that neither of the defenders is good enough to play for the Bhoys.
“What does Deila see when he looks at Efe Ambrose?” the former Wales international wrote in The Scottish Sun. “I know he wasn’t playing against Aberdeen but he’s been a regular since Deila took over.
“I don’t like to single out individual players for criticism but why can’t he see Ambrose isn’t up to the job? The lad Erik Sviatchenko looks decent on the ball but he’s no Bobo Balde or Joos Valgaeren.”
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 55 points from 24 matches.
The Hoops are three points clear of second-placed Aberdeen, who won against them at home on Wednesday evening.
Ronny Deila’s side will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on East Kilbride away from home at the Excelsior Stadium in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
