Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports Soccer Special, which was broadcast on February 2nd, that Norwich City could have a problem, as many of their new signings will take a while to bed in at Carrow Road.
Norwich brought in Ivo Pinto, Patrick Bamford, Steven Naismith, James Maddison and Timm Klose in January.
And even though Nicholas admits that the Canaries have made some good additions to their squad, he fears that they will not have enough time to settle.
“The problem for Norwich is that these new signings will take time to bed in,” Nicholas said. “They don’t have that - because in the home games you want to be picking up a point, if not three.
“They’ve made decent signings, but still have a bit to prove.”
Norwich are under pressure to start collecting points, as they are in the thick of a relegation fight.
Alex Neil’s side are currently just above the drop zone, but they have Newcastle United and Sunderland breathing down their necks.
Thankfully for Norwich, the North East duo’s form has been poor, but the East Anglian club do need to start picking up some victories of their own.
Norwich have lost their last four Premier League matches, meaning there is a sizeable amount of pressure for them to beat bottom of the table Aston Villa at the weekend.
