Slaven Bilic wants more consistency from West Ham United

The Hammers are currently hunting down a place in Europe.

Speaking to the club’s official website, West Ham United managed Slaven Bilic says he wants his side to become more consistent in the remaining games.

The Hammers have enjoyed a fine season under the Croatian so far, with them currently sixth in the table and just six points away from Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place.

They have been impressive in getting to that position so far, with them doing particularly well over the difficult Christmas period when several of their stars were out injured.

Bilic though, wants to seem become more consistent in the 14 games remaining as they hunt down a place in Europe next season.

“We are good, we are consistent, I would like us to be more consistent,” he told

“Of course there is always room for improvement but we are very confident.”

“We have 14 games to play which is a lot, but we are fit, we are good, we are collecting points and I hope we are going to continue like this.”

What will make West Ham confident of picking up more points in the remaining games is the return of their key stars.

Chief among them is Dimitri Payet, with the Frenchman having been a star player in the first half of the campaign and once again showing his quality upon his return from injury in recent weeks.

He is sure to play a big part once again, with his form likely to be pivotal to where the Hammers end up finishing this season.
