Sunderland have another big match this weekend against Liverpool.
Sunderland’s players have been put through their paces ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool on Saturday.
The Black Cats lost 1-0 to Manchester City last time out but their performance was encouraging and suggested Sam Allardyce’s side should fight their way clear of the bottom three sooner rather than later.
That said, Sunderland will have to be at their best to beat Liverpool in their own backyard, but with four points separating the Black Cats and the safety of 17th place expect them to go all out for the victory.
Among the players in training for Sunderland on Thursday were French centre-back Younes Kaboul, who has missed the last seven Premier League games due to injury.
With Jan Kirchhoff and Lamine Kone now at the club, Kaboul may find it hard to get back into the starting line-up. However his return is still a huge boost at a time when Sunderland need as many of their first-team players fit as possible.
