Mekhi McLeod was a low key addition at Rangers in the January transfer window, signing with the club after impressing on trial.
His arrival was only confirmed on transfer deadline day, when he sent a message on Twitter confirming the switch.
The 19-year-old is a right winger who is a real prospect for the future, and hopes to develop under the tutelage of boss Mark Warburton.
McLeod replaces winger Nathan Oduwa, who had been on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, returning to his club in early January.
Oduwa has given McLeod his seal of approval, responding yesterday to his message on Twitter, wishing him luck at Ibrox.
It's unclear whether Warburton would have pushed McLeod's deal through had Oduwa still been there, but he is potentially a better long term bet for the club, given that they now have him on a permanent basis instead of just on loan, and can take their time with his development.
Oduwa's next move is also uncertain. He featured for Tottenham's under-21s last week, but could go out on loan with the English Championship window for deals opening again next week.
