Arsenal will take on the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
“Arsenal are in danger of letting the season pass them by yet again and the fact that they haven’t scored in their last three league games tells a story,” Owen has predicted on Colossusbets.com. “And, for all that I rate Giroud, they do lack a deadly finisher in the shape of a Vardy, Kane or an Aguero.
“Bournemouth don’t have the best home record but they beat Man Utd 2-1 there in December and took another big step to safety with a 2-1 win at struggling Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
“I have to favour Arsenal here, but only just, and I take the Gunners to win 2-1. I’m not overly-confident, though.”
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 24 matches, five points behind leaders Leicester City.
The Gunners will head into the game against Bournemouth away from home on the back of a goalless draw with Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
Arsene Wenger’s side have not won any of their last four league matches and have not scored in any of their last three.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth currently find themselves 15th in the Premier League table with 28 points from 24 matches.
Eddie Howe’s side are seven points above the relegation zone, and there is a good chance that they will retain their top-flight status for next season.
