Villa will take on the Canaries at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
“A 4-0 FA Cup defeat at the hands of Man City aside, Villa had shown signs of recent improvement before their 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Tuesday night, but you can point the finger squarely at Ayew for that loss, as he stupidly got himself sent off with an elbow early on in the game,” Owen has written on Colossusbets.com. “I take Villa to win a grim game 1-0.”
Villa are at the bottom of the Premier League table at the moment with just 13 points from 24 matches.
The Villans are 10 points behind 17th-placed Norwich and look set to go down to the Championship at the end of the season.
Remi Garde’s side will head into the game on Saturday afternoon on the back of a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United away from home in London.
Meanwhile, Norwich are 17th in the standings with 23 points from 24 games. Alex Neil’s side will head into the encounter on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Carrow Road in the Premier League.
Playing at home will give Villa an advantage, but one should not be surprised if the match finished in a draw.
