Tottenham Hotspur leapfrogged Arsenal recently in the Premier League. Following their 3-0 result against Norwich City on Tuesday and the Gunners 0-0 draw at home against Southamtpon Spurs went ahead of their North London rivals in the Premier League table.
So with Spurs now in fourth and Arsenal down to fifth what does Tottenham star striker Harry Kane think of their new league position - in particular being above Arsenal.
He doesn't seem to care too much about the Gunners. He told the Express yesterday evening that Spurs are no longer looking backwards - so Arsenal are not currently a concern:
"We're not really looking behind us. We're looking forward.
"That's what's been different from other seasons, when we were maybe trying to hang on to fourth or hang on to fifth.
"Now we're third and we're trying to get as far up the league as we can. We're not worried about the teams behind us.
"We have games against Arsenal and Manchester City coming up but we don't fear anyone."
Spurs are emerging as a genuine title candidate this season. Leicester City remain at the summit whilst Manchester City are the bookies favourites. Arsenal however are trailing once again and Spurs remain consistent in their fine form.
Kane clearly feels that Spurs are actually title contenders and that Arsenal are therefore not a current threat.
The England striker has his crosshairs on Leicester and City and a Premier League title. Arsenal will just have to try and keep up the pace.
