Everton beat Newcastle 3-0 at Goodison Park yesterday evening, in a win which was important for their season.
The pressure has risen on Roberto Martinez, after what has been a disappointing first half of the campaign.
Everton have conceded too frequently, and have been stuck down in the bottom half for much of the season so far.
However, the Toffees have moved up to 11th due to their victory last night - and their performance was impressive.
Lennon set the Toffees on their way with an early goal, before two late Ross Barkley penalties sealed a comprehensive victory over Steve McClaren's relegation threatened side.
Deulofeu was an unused substitute for the fixture, whereas Lennon played the whole match - but both players were delighted with the result.
Big win today, deserved the 3 points tonight the lads were top draw, Got to kick on from here now #toffees— Aaron Lennon (@AaronLennon12) February 4, 2016

Everton’s next match comes against Stoke City at the weekend and, despite all the frustrations around this season, they could move up to seventh place with a win.
