Bryan Oviedo impressed for Everton in their 3-0 win over Newcastle United.
Who needs Leighton Baines?
Bryan Oviedo delivered his best performance since his return from injury, with a defensively dominant display against Newcastle United.
Oviedo was effective in shutting down Newcastle wingers Rolando Aarons and Andros Townsend, winning the ball back six times for his side.
In possession Oviedo was near immaculate, recording a 94 per cent pass completion rate, and was not dispossessed once.

The match at Goodison Park was only Oviedo's fifth Premier League game of the season, and it was a team performance which as a whole impressed manager Roberto Martinez, who praised their back four.
He told the club website: "I think it was the first time this season we managed the game for 90 minute. We defended really well when we had to and I thought we really enjoyed playing in front of our home crowd."
Oviedo provided an assist in the FA Cup win over Carlisle, and has now contributed to the team keeping two clean sheets in succession.
The Costa Rican emphasises the strength in depth Everton have defensively, and if he continues to play like this, will mount a serious case to keep Baines on the bench for a sustained spell.
