Southampton drew 0-0 with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium yesterday evening.

Ronald Koeman has praised Southampton’s team spirit on Twitter after they managed to collect a point from the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal yesterday evening.

The Saints were on the back foot for much of the match against Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger’s side could not find a way past Fraser Forster.

The former Celtic stopper was in wonderful form, as he thwarted Arsenal’s attacking players on numerous occasions.

And Koeman was keen to praise the England international on Twitter, after the match had finished.

Forster has missed much of the season since injury, but he has returned to action in brilliant form.

The 27-year-old has now played in Southampton’s last four matches, and he is yet to be beaten by any side.

His commanding performances between the sticks have helped Southampton put together an excellent run of form, which has lifted them up to seventh place in the Premier League table.

Koeman's side's next match comes against West Ham United at the weekend.
