Liverpool lost 2-0 away at Leicester City on Tuesday night.

Liverpool suffered yet another away day horror show as they lost 2-0 away at Leicester City, with fans fuming with the performance of Emre Can.

The Reds were comfortable at half time with the score 0-0, but two goals from Jamie Vardy - the first of which was a goal of the season contender - handed Leicester another win in their pursuit of the Premier League title.

Recent away losses at Newcastle, Watford and West Ham - all games where Liverpool failed to find the back of the net - will have been in the minds of Liverpool fans as they again drew a blank on the road.

Many players frustrated Liverpool supporters during the game, with Dejan Lovren, Lucas Leiva, James Milner, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino all coming in for stern criticism, but it was Emre Can who bore the brunt of fans' anger after the final whistle.

Many had expected the 22-year-old German to thrive under his compatriot Jurgen Klopp, but if anything he seems to be regressing, and he endured another poor display at the King Power Stadium.

Fans took to Twitter after the game to state that they think Klopp should immediately drop Can to the bench and start Joe Allen in midfield instead, believing that the Welshman offers more right now.

Some even believe that Can, who has long been touted as a potential star of the future, won't ever become what people thought he would, and Liverpool should replace him in the summer if they have aspirations of winning major silverware.

Here are some of the reactions from Liverpool fans after Emre Can's performance against Leicester City on Tuesday night...
