Sheffield Wednesday fought back to secure a 1-1 draw with promotion rivals Burnley on Tuesday evening.
Andre Gray continued his fine form in front of goal by netting after just three minutes, before Kieran Lee equalised early in the second half.
The shared points were not great for either side, with Burnley failing to close in on the top two and the automatic promotion paces they hold, whilst Wednesday still remain outside the top six.
The Owls sit one point behind sixth placed Ipswich Town, and they will be looking to close the gap on the play-off places over the coming weeks.
Carlos Carvalhal’s men performed well against their promotion rivals, controlling possession and managing more shots than Burnely.
However, they failed to capitalise on their dominance, and they were always going to struggle after conceding so early in the game.
Following the tie, Jack Hunt reacted to the result on his personal Twitter account.
The defender, who signed for the Owls permanent in the January transfer window having been on loan from Crystal Palace, admitted that picking up a point against a strong Burnley team is not that poor a result for Wednesday.
