Gallery: Leicester and Jamie Vardy's fairytale continues as Klopp is visibly displeased by Liverpool's efforts

Leicester City continued their extraordinary season with a 2-0 win over Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.

Not many people would have predicted that Leicester City would be 16 points ahead of Liverpool at the start of February at the start of the season.

But a wonder goal from Jamie Vardy followed by a more conventional striker's finish for the second meant that Leicester City remain three points clear at the top of the Premier League ahead of their huge encounter against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium - the next huge hurdle in their improbable title challenge from this season.

As for Liverpool, it was a familiar story for Jurgen Klopp and his side. Though they were in the game for long periods they were utterly toothless in the final third and made to pay for it, while they didn't react terribly well to falling behind. Instead they looked resigned to defeat, and their manager looked visibly displeased.

Before the game he was in better spirits as he took a selfie with a member of the crowd but for much of the game he cut a frustrated figure as his side looked devoid of ideas again. They are now 11 points behind the top four and have dropped to eighth, meaning this league campaign is now effectively a write-off for his side.
