Ex-footballer accuses Arsenal of bottling it as Tottenham climb above them

Tottenham have climbed above Arsenal in the Premier League.

Southampton frustrated Arsenal at The Emirates to hold the Gunners to a draw on Tuesday night.

Arsenal have been considered by man as the favourites to win the Premier League title, but after a disappointing run of form they have now slipped down the table, from having entered 2016 in first place.

Their 0-0 draw with the Saints was costly, with rivals Leicester City, Manchester City and Tottenham all winning.

Tottenham have now drawn level with the Gunners on points, and climbed above Arsenal on goal difference, with Arsene Wenger's side now in fourth place.

Mick Quinn, former footballer and Talksport pundit, accused Arsenal of bottling it.

Arsenal have now dropped four points against Southampton over the past six weeks, while they are now three league games without scoring a goal, their worst run in six seasons.

Arsenal can put this one down to an inspired display from Fraser Forster, but combined with a recent home loss to Chelsea, perhaps there is reason for concern, and seeing Tottenham climb above them should set alarm bells ringing, especially with Manchester United suddenly snapping away in fifth.
