The Nigerian striker signed on loan until the end of the season and he will now be tasked with helping the Hammers maintain their brilliant form since Slaven Bilic took charge.
Emenike signed for West Ham from Turkish club Fenerbahce although he had spent the first half of the campaign at Abu Dhabi club Al Ain.
Bilic had to wait for the chance to play Emenike but now any remaining obstacles have been overcome, allowing the 28-year-old to step in for the injured Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll.
Fellow forward Enner Valencia has been impressing in recent weeks and it will be interesting to see how Emenike plays with the Ecuador international.
Whatever happens, expect play-maker and star signing Dimitri Payet to be licking his lips at the prospect of setting up chances for yet another exciting forward in the months ahead.
