Sebastian Polter has thanked Queens Park Rangers supporters after he was voted as Player of the Month for January.
Polter has been one of the players to benefit the most from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s appointment at Loftus Road, and he has enjoyed his best run of form since moving to the London club recently.
And the powerful forward is now looking to keep his goalscoring run going, judging by his message on social media site Twitter.
Polter made a slow start to his QPR career, and he struggled in his first few appearances for the club.
The 24-year-old scored just one goal in his first 10 appearances for Rangers, leading to question marks forming over his quality.
However, Polter has now struck four times in his last six matches - and his form has established his place up-front for Hasselbaink’s men.
Despite Conor Washington’s arrival, Polter has continued to start in a striking position and he has helped Rangers go unbeaten throughout their last four matches.
