Nasser El Khayati sends message on Twitter, QPR and Burton Albion fans respond

Nasser El Khayati joined Queens Park Rangers from Burton Albion on transfer deadline day.

Nasser El Khayati has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Queens Park Rangers from Burton Albion.

The 26-year-old striker signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Championship side QPR on transfer deadline day.

El Khayati will be reunited with Rangers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who signed him last January when he was in charge of Albion.

The former Kozakken Boys striker scored 11 goals in 44 appearances during his spell at the Pirelli Stadium.

QPR are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 36 points from 29 matches.

Meanwhile, Albion currently find themselves at the top of the League One table with 57 points from 28 matches, three points clear of second-placed Gillingham with a game in hand.

El Khayati has taken to Twitter to comment on his move, with QPR and Albion fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
