Leroy Fer has expressed his delight on Twitter after moving on loan from Queens Park Rangers to Swansea City until the end of the season.
Swansea completed a move for the Dutch international in the closing stages of deadline day, as they looked to increase their midfield options.
And Fer is looking forward to getting started at the Liberty Stadium, where he will be tasked with helping the Welsh side to climb up the Premier League table.
Very delighted to have joined @SwansOfficial on a loan deal... Let's go!!!— Leroy Fer (@LeroyFer10) February 1, 2016
Fer’s track record in English football could be a slight worry for Swansea.
The attacking midfielder has been relegated in both seasons he has played in England - first with Norwich City and then with QPR.
However, Fer will be looking to break that trend by proving his worth at Swansea.
The 26-year-old hasn’t actually been in the best of form for QPR this term, scoring just twice in 19 appearances.
He still seemed to have a prominent part to play in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team, however, but QPR were forced to let him leave as they looked to reduce their wage budget.
