Leeds United failed to add a player on transfer deadline day.
Transfer deadline day was a washout for Leeds United fans as the club failed to add a single player.
This is despite the club being well short of the play-off spots, and the recent injury problems suffered by striker Chris Wood.
Head coach Steve Evans was quoted in The Express last week saying the club wanted to bring new players in, but evidently they were unsuccessful.
Owner Massimo Cellino was talking down the prospect of deals ahead of deadline day, and perhaps it is small mercies that no more players were sold.
The club let Sam Byram leave earlier in the month, netting £3.7 million, but spent just £600,000 of that on Brentford midfielder Toumani Diagouraga, with Mustapha Carayol signed on loan.
It may make some degree of sense to wait until the summer to spend that money, but fans are legitimately worried as to whether it will be made available, and it is not made easier by seeing fellow Championship side Middlesbrough splash out £13 million on striker Jordan Rhodes, when they could not even bring in a forward on loan.
The lack of activity was too much for some fans, with comments on social media directing anger towards the club's Italian owner.
Here is a look at the reaction to the lack of deadline day activity...
I'm boycotting all home games, as long as Cellino is in charge I'm not going, why should I line his pockets when he cannot be bothered.

"I'll judge cellino when January window shuts" "I'll judge cellino after summer transfer window" he's taking everyone for mugs #cellinoout

If Cellino isn't bothered about pushing for a playoff spot then why should the players be bothered #lufc

I invite fans to stop attending matches. The longer you fill Cellino's pockets the longer he stays. Time to take a stand. For real. #lufc

Cellino is worse than Ken Bates and that's a fact

Somethings gotta change. Get Cellino out. Absolutely killing our club from the inside. #lufc #cellinoout

Sooner Cellino is out of #lufc the better we will be. Doesn't understand the English game and has driven out all the help he's been offered.
