Marseille come up with a bizarre description for Sunderland loanee Steven Fletcher

As descriptions go, you really can't argue with this!

While just about everyone and their aunt was trying to convince West Brom to allow Saido Berahino to join their club, one name sort of went unnoticed for a little bit... Steven Fletcher.

In honesty one of the strangest transfer deals we think we might have ever seen, French Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille decided to snap up the Scottish striker on loan until the end of the season.

Now, we're really not sure if they've ever seen the striker play football before, or if they're just impressed by his very flash Lamborghini Aventador - either way, they decided to sign him up.

And with nothing much else going on, Fletcher's move to France was seemingly the most newsworthy story, with the transfer being the top trending topic on Twitter for several hours on Deadline Day.

So, with Fletcher now with a club who has had the likes of Chris Waddle, Jean-Pierre Papin, Didier Drogba and George Weah play for them, how were they going to market their newest signing?

Well, they decided to write a VERY informative piece on their website which revealed two of Fletcher's greatest assets:

"He may not be known as a technical player, but he is 1.85m tall."

We'll be honest, if we were going to describe Fletcher to someone who has probably never heard of him before, we would more than likely use the same description... I mean it does work well, right?
