The Daily Mirror reports that a banker suffering from depression jumped to his death from the balcony of his office in front of terrified colleagues after his wife had been asked to come to collect him.
Gurdal's wife, Mrs Nagataki, who worked for the same firm near Mansion House, London, took him to the fifth floor to get her Oyster card before escorting him home.
But while she went to collect the travel card Gurdal was seen by witnesses climbing over the balcony and falling from the fifth floor into the atrium below.
Coroner Dr Roy Palmer said: 'I must conclude that he did kill himself on that day, the 26th November'.
