Aston Villa failed to complete one transfer in the January transfer window.
Aston Villa supporters are raging with the club’s failure to sign one player throughout the January transfer window.
The Claret and Blues are 10 points adrift of safety, and they have looked desperately short of quality throughout the season so far.
However, Villa failed in all their attempts to bring in new players, much to their supporters’ frustration.
Doumbia went to Newcastle, Khazri moved to Sunderland and Debuchy opted to switch to Bordeaux.
Kalinic, meanwhile, did agree terms with the Midlands club, but had a work permit application rejected.
Villa’s failure to do any business in the transfer window has frustrated Garde, and the Mail suggests that he is now considering his future at Villa Park.
And, Villa fans, are sympathising with their manager, as they feel he has been badly left down by the club’s board.
Here is the best reaction from Villa fans to their lack of business in the January window.
Feel sorry for Garde. Trying to move the club forward but has been hung out to dry by the pathetic, spineless board & owner. Disgrace. #AVFC— Russell Collins (@RussellCollins) February 1, 2016
If I was Garde I’d be gone already.— #Cutteridge (@JamieCutteridge) February 1, 2016
hope Garde doesn't leave, he's trying to do the right things just a shame he wasn't given support to bring in a bit quality #avfc— Paulo Di Canio (@PaulMaxwell6) February 2, 2016
I wouldnt blame garde if he decided to leave. The club is a shambles. #wewantourvillaback— steven deffley (@deffmundo_avfc) February 2, 2016
I wouldn't blame Garde for quitting. No support from a board and owner who have torn the heart from the lion. #AVFC— Ryan Brayshaw (@RJBrayshaw) February 2, 2016
I want Remi Garde to leave us.— Karan Khanna (@khaalbro) February 2, 2016
He doesn't deserve this, the people who actually should leave are ensuring we reach league 1 soon #avfc
